Don't worry, I'm not going to haunt you for the rest of your life just because I bought an ebay item from you.....just a short story about that item that I thought you'd enjoy. I seem to remember from my first contact with you after bidding that you have a lot of love for birds, so I wanted to share a happy story about the product I bought from you ( veggie/millet holder ).
Before bidding, I saw that most of your items seemed to be geared toward larger birds, and I have keets. However, the item listing said "suitable for all birds", and I figured, it's a millet holder, how big can it be? Huge!! But, my  boys weren't in the least intimidated.....went right after it ( I usually reserve spray millet for hand feeding, since I haven't had them long and they're still getting used to me ). I originally went ebay crazy ordering a bunch of stuff because I had ordered an indoor aviary, and was going to move my guys from their birdie condo ( 48" L x 33"h x 24" depth ). My mother in law will be taking care of my boys while hubby and I are out of the country for three weeks; while she'll take good care of them, she's not comfortable letting them out so they won't get their daily free flight time. So, I had to get an indoor aviary, right? Anyway, I knew the move would be somewhat stressful for them, so planned the move for the afternoon. This way they would have already eaten at least twice, in case they stopped eating for a while, but would give them some time to get used to their new surroundings before bedtime ( no night terrors for my babies! ). Not surprisingly, for about an hour after the move, the boys just huddled together on one perch. Then I brought in the secret weapon......your millet holder toy, loaded up with a big, yummy fresh spray of their favorite treat. It worked.....my shier boy was actually the first to go for it, eating from the comfort of the perch next to the holder, then my psycho boy went for it....standing on top, hanging upside down and eating to his heart's content :-)
So, a happy story. The keets have been in their new home for almost a week now, and they love it. My poor Border Collie preferred the birdie condo, because these are "her" baby budgies and before she could "herd" the birds by running around in circles around the cage...now the aviary is against the wall. But, she still stands guard every single minute that she's in the house ( doesn't even come upstairs to sleep with us anymore, sleeps with her budgies ), and has a great time watching the birds flying all over the aviary.
Eeeeks, didn't mean to write you a novel....got up too early and already finished a pot of strong coffee!! Thanks again for a great product, and the next time I'm looking for birdie items, I'll check your listings. Take care....Silvija
