    I think this is probably a VICTORIAN sewing basket. It’s charming. The basket is brown wicker and it has a brown cloth drawstring top. The best thing of course is the glass beaded decoration around the top that forms a kind of garland. The main color in the beads is dark turquoise blue and there are four flowers of lighter blue with yellow centers. The basket is approximately 6” across the top excluding the beads. There are a few breaks in the basket but for its age it is in great shape. The fabric is a little faded where it folds.
